		Contact Persons The Office of the Union of the German Academies of Sciences and Humanities was established in 1993. It supports the executive board in the fulfilment of its many and varied tasks, manages the work of the Union’s organs, committees and working groups, and is in charge of the press information and public relations activities. A major task of the Union is the administration and coordination of the Academies’ Programme. In addition, it organises the Union’s international relations and provides further services to the member academies. In 2003, the Union set up an office in Berlin, whose main responsibility is press information and public relations on the Union’s behalf.
